The MVP Collection is a clothing line for big and tall men, owned by former MLB player Mo Vaughn. For Fall/Winter 2019, the company collaborated with fellow former player Frank Thomas on an exclusive line. As part of the team, collaboration occurred with account/content members to produce monthly social media posts. Static and animated posts were designed weekly, as well as website sale banners and sweepstake landing pages during promotions.

FW19 Collection Proposal Site

Project Details

For MVP's two new Fall/Winter 2019 collections, a need for stronger creative direction was identified based on fashion industry experience. Taking the initiative, a custom website proposed three different creative campaign concepts for photoshoots - providing a path to elevate the brand's social media presence.

High-Fidelity Designs

The client had two new collections, “Neon Lights” and “Seductive Nights”. I pitched two different sets for the neon clothing: street photography with added graphics in post-production or studio sessions to play with two-tone lighting. For the Seductive Night collection, I pitched night street photography and studio sessions with darker-tone lighting.

During the development, I worked closely with a programmer and directed the user experience. I helped finish the coding on WordPress.

Although the client was appreciative, they ultimately decided not to move forward with a photoshoot.

Shop the Look

Although the collection proposal didn't proceed, the client wanted a "Shop the Look" page added to their e-commerce site. Each month would feature a new curated product selection. Mock-ups designed a layout with supplementary imagery banners supporting the overall aesthetic.
